What Are the Benefits of a High Altitude Balloon?
CNN's John Sutter talks about a company that makes high altitude balloons for the military. He says they can stay in the stratosphere indefinitely, which is useful if you want to look at something long-term. The Chinese may have been using one of their balloons to spy on U.S., he says. But it could also be spying on new communications technology being developed by the US military.
