The Future of Europe's Partnership With Africa
One of the key results from an international energy strategy perspective has been to increase the role of Africa in the European strategy here. I think there's a new North-South divide on the subject of energy and then climate policy, they have different priorities. What we find is that developing world really feels its voice hasn't been heard on energy actually. We used to talk about the North- south divide which was after the oil crisis in the 70s which was about commodity prices. Now I think there're two very different issues at play with both sides trying to get their way.
