Are Markets a Good Thing or Can They Be a Bad Thing?

I think it's fair to say a centrist left of center democratic universe kind of guy but you're also fully aware and cognizant that markets are a good thing or can be a good thing right. It seems to me that markets acknowledge the existence of noise by finding basically the price that is essentially the product of an incredibly noisy phenomenon. No person bidding on one side or the other in the stock market may have the correct price but the wisdom of crowds yields one. The fact that some people really love rock port shoes and some people like myself I'm not beholden to rock port and I love those shoes is a fact of diversity of tastes and values  and that is reflected in market
