A lot of times people are thinking more about the brand management actually. Really getting involved in a community and nurturing it isn't even done by that many businesses. Sharpie pens have this really cool blog slash site where they encourage people to draw creative stuff and put it up there. And now all of a sudden they've developed an entire artist community around it.
