The Effect of a Malicious Designer on AI

Stephen Hawking says he doesn't think AI can become conscious. But it could act as though it does and it could be directed by human tech that way, according to the physicist. He also argues there has to be somehow that even if it were self-aware, it wouldn't have these malicious goals. And this is an example of how Elon Musk has picked up too much from Sam Harris' work on ants.
