The Myth of the Nammy

The not including domestic in those wages means that the wages are low and that allows white women to go back to the workforce because they have hired underpaid domestic, black domestic workers. So it's empowering one group of people at the expense of another. The other story you tell about that woman going to be Rosie the Riverders, she doesn't even know the name of the person who's living in her house. That was the one that really struck me in the gut.
