For some people, it's the meat-only diet, right? Well, if that's the only way that they're able to control their calories and they can lose weight on that, then they're probably healthier than them being overweight. A meta-analysis done by Noud at all, 2014, looked at kind of isocaloric exchanges of carbohydrates and fats in various diets. And what they found was basically 95 to 99% of the health improvements were just completely due to the weight you lose.
