The Importance of Ricardian Efficiency in the Industrial Revolution

I do believe in a kind of Ricardian efficiency where people will find some kind of comparative advantage and they'll find something to do. But I think, yeah, I do think at this point we can be more optimistic. We have seen a massive expansion in the role of the state, both in providing public goods and in redistributing things like that.
