The Diaries of Kathleen Follbeck
Kathleen Follbeig was convicted of killing her four children in 2003. The jury heard 3,000 words from her diary as a motive for the killings. Her diaries became 'the diaries of a monster literally', says author Mark Tadeski. She has long been described as Australia's worst female serial killer. In prison she had to be isolated and constantly abused by other prisoners. When she wrote about the day her memories would come to the surface - that will be the day to lock me up is what she wrote.
