What Is Considered Oppression?
Even within marginalized or oppressed groups, there is such a huge variance of opinion about what is considered oppressive. You can literally see like in the example that I gave with Adolph Reed earlier, that members of these very groups are silenced for like thought crimes about the group that they're in. So yeah, freedom and also encouraging and trusting people to use their freedom well... And then if people are acting in ways that are like exploitative or practicing domination, then that is where we should step in.
