Is the Pastor a Professional?

In the conception of ministry, it has been professionalized over the last of 50 to 75 years. The minister is seen as an executive rather than a servant of the word. Paul wrote to timothy and said, preach the word in season and out of season. That's the one most important issue in the christian ministry. I think it's a generational shift. Most young pastors really don't have this professional image of the ministry.
