How Do You Know When You Need More Sleep Than Your Parents?
As we go through adolescence, our biological preference for going to bed and waking up changes that we move forward in time. Children of all ages from five to 18 are now sleeping two hours less in this modern era than they were a hundred years ago. We label people who get sufficient sleep as slothful or even lazy. And so I think one of the problems is that school start times are too early.
