Most of the people arrested for looting were from the poorest parts latino los angeles, where basically they were on starvation like level. The defense workers in l a, unlike people who had been unemployed for an enormously long period of time are eligible for unemployment. So it was like the they, it happened, at the very bottom. Those people are rarely depicted on screen because middle class, you know, audiences cant.
