Emergency Care - What's the Government and NHS England Planning?
This week the government set out more detailed plans about how it's hoping to tackle the crisis in urgent in emergency care. The plan is aimed at reducing waiting times and improving care. It also reiterates the importance of speeding up hospital discharges, which could put pressure on overstretched practices. But there are some real question marks over how many aspects of this plan are actually going to be implemented - with most things sound very positive as ever.
