Berlin - The Story of the City

I think Berlin, perhaps more than any other European city, seems to be in an almost constant state of reinvention. I think from the beginning Berlin embraced the ideas of reality and the story it wanted to tell. One of my favorite stories took place in 1448 when the leader Kerfust, Frederick the iron tooth, he ordered the building of the Schloss. They defied him and opened the river Schles floodgates to swamp its foundations.
