There are these little Archangel Michael references throughout the poem, but he never can mention him specifically. He's consciously drawing this connection between the great Christian dragons layer and then the great pagan dragons layer. At the very end of his life, Beowulf has this sort of speech where he's, you know, fights the dragon, spoilers, kills it with some help,. But it's poisoned, and it's about to die. So as he's dying, he kind of, he's talking to Beowulf, his, his young kinsmen, and he's kind of going over their lives. And he's contemplating whether or not he's going to make the cut right.
