When you press a button on your keyboard that's delet, i send the value one 27. The asky value of delet is based on having a way to lek delete a column. And it's even the same in leunicode. It all dates back to punch cards, and it's all just because you can't unpunch a hole in a card. We don't need delet to be all the holes punched any more.
