Open Is Better Than Closed for Creators
Open platforms are what's going to save us. We need to keep investing in them. You can get a big audience on a closed platform like youtube or club house, but don't think that they have your best interests at heart. They own the leverage and they own the leverage for one reason only: to get returns for their shareholders. And i giving up distribution and control for short term gains is a real mistake for creators.
