Bram watched in wonder as dwarf after dwarf from the burliest bruisers to the cunning craftsman pulled their beards off. In the end, only a few dwarves were left with beards and their neighbors reached over and tugged on their beards, and those popped off too. Is, is no one really an adult? Does no one have a real beard? Oh, I guess not. But I guess we're all just faking it and doing our best. So, no one's real? Only the goats, I guess. And now Bram started laughing too. From that day on, well, the dwarves still wore beards, but now it was because they liked them
