We Can't Know Where We're Going Unless We Understand Where We Have Been
All the religions of the world are already present in the hindu upanishads. Professor campbell refers specifically to the brihadaran yaka upan shad. It is in this text that we first learn of concepts such as non duality and karma. We harbour a deeply unconscious awareness that we are so much more, so much larger than we consciously believe we are or could be. Campbell then remarks that this is how we appear to the other side of the world.
