The bicoin foundation wasa, i believe it's a non profit. Back in early days, 20 12 set up to basically defend bit coin after numerous scams and kind of headline slams also out there. The purpose of the texas bit coin foundation m is to insure that we have the right assumptions and priors that we are bringing into our public debates about bit coin. A bit coin does not exist in vacuum. It exists in worlds with governments that can make the users of bit coin's lives miserable and much, much harder.
