Real time data platforms like materialize will sit side by side with systems like snowflake or redshift. I do not think there will be one system that people use to solve all their problems. When a single stakeholder has to use multiple systems, I think that nothing but slows them down. We take the belief that the real time system should be able to deal with all the state management and usage of cloud object stores like S3.
