In China, for example, you do have a very clear executive leadership. And whereas in the United States, no one's really sure who's,. you know, in charge because no one really is in charge. That's why you can't have high-speed rail in the US. You want to high-speed train? You have thousands of vested interests that suddenly it becomes an impossible task. It's very frustrating as an American to see that nothing gets done because there's no one at the helm. If our central bank was completely private, I will probably freak out," he says.
