The Future of Mobile Sensing in Psychology
I think that there is a future of in the research in this area where you could assess states using other objective forms of assessments so obviously my area is in mobile sensing methods or data that you can collect from a smartphone. I would be more comfortable describing them as like a behavioral state, depending on the level of aggregation you're using it could be at the daily levelYou could even get behavioral tendencies if you aggregate out but I don't think there's well there hasn't been research that has really looked at how those states map on to existing trait models or existing trait dimensions.
