James Bodel is working on a project called server farm to reconstruct the entire architecture of computation as we imagine it at the moment. He's trying to bring in other species animals plants and microorganisms so he can see what happens when they interact with computer systems. It could lead to all kinds of kind of fascinating questions about how we relate and how we think, says Bodel.
