Writing Is a Tool for Imagining a World
I can't help but think about just trying to wrangle themes around human desire and a consciousness in all those other sort of heavy ideas or heaty ideas that you're all tackle in the west world. I think writing is a tool for imagining a world that you want to live in, and imagining the kind of person you'd like to be one day. Or even if that person makes mistakes, somehow, if you can forgive the character of those mistakes, you might be able to forgive yourself. To be able to find that world, mak a model, a metaphor for our world, and watch this hero navigate it and one day kind of start to live in it on her own terms
