People officers are often disproportionately inclined to solve problems by hiring people. This person who runs your people team is going to be deeply imbedded in the culture theye're going to be your eyes and ears, often into the organization. So i think you need to aline on your beliefs about how the organization should be run. And check for those moments where you're both dagin and not on the same pange.
