Lak anseldoa's poem holy relics discusses the disinterment and dismemberment of saint teresa abila. The story is one of these dismemberment stories, like that of a protective daughter being torn limb from limb by her brother. And so koshaki's head, as a version of the story, goes becomes the moon, and her remaining body parts are then tossed down the hill where the story takes place. This reading of koashawki that she offers in her work seems to speak to something broader than this individual identification. Ik tha could frame a dicotomy between disability and inability.
