The Fliece Letters
The freud establishment, a which was made up of heins hartman and ernstcris and ano freud, i believe that in order to oprotect freud's reputation they had to suppress some of the more controversial material. But once you had the fleece letters, where he gave some hints about what had actually gone on in his first three years in freiburg,. This led to research into those years, which uncovered how problematic and dramatic his relationship to his mother had been. And my experience was, in reading them and seeing him in all his vulnerability, rather than turning me off to him, it made me appreciate him much more.
