Don't ask other people. Is your experience good? Are you learning a lot? Have you tried other techniques and this is working better than those? That's all that matters. Don't try to do it the way that it's supposed to be done. Decide for yourself. As cliche as it sounds, just have the confidence to go with whatever you've assessed to be correct. And just do that, and we'll have more people than ar creative and doing interesting thing.
