At Cornell, there are some classes that are niche more than normal. You can you can get people to come towards a very niche class from all over the world. One of our concentrations is Tolkien studies. To offer a complete master's degree with a concentration in Tolkien studies would be just incredibly prohibitive at any brick and mortar university.
