Is There a Circularity in the Categories?

i think there's another circularity here with medicine too. If you have to use these categories, what you end up seeing is when they do the health equity studies,. Non whi, non hespanic whites are at lower risk of death from covid than basically everyone else. This doesn't make any scientific sense, but because those are the categories s that's what the research looks to for disparities. And so then we see all of these disparities, which then serves to justify the the application of care based on race.
