cosmos founder j quan noted way back in 20 19 that it's very possible that the cosmos hub could eventually become obsolete along with the atom coin. The current tendemint ink team has come up with a number of solutions to prevent this from happening. At the end of april, tendermint ink will be running an incentivize test net for traders with a prize pool of tendermint made crypto currencies worth over 200 thousand dollars.
