Pumping in Red Burgundy

Pumping is important, but also pumping in terms of blending in a vat before bottling. I cannot think of many really good producers damaging the quality of the wine by doing too much pumping or at least not in Burgundy today. If you bottle barrel by barrel, of course, you can have bottle variation. But what we'll get in the bottle is pristine. Will not suffer from interferences, from the not so clean machine or something that can produce the setup, whatever.
