Non Invasive Strategies for Vegas Nerve Stimulation
The list is rapidly growing for invasive and non invasive indications for Vegas nerve direct Vegas nerve stimulation which would be of course the surgical implants. And then when you move to non invasive stimulation of the nerves in the ear, which I argue may or may not be a misnomer. Some of these devices have received FDA approval for migraine headache for rehabilitation therapy after stroke. The list grows exponentially so ultrasound can be harnessed to stimulate the Vegas nerve in the port of hepatitis of the liver or in the spleen. There are ongoing clinical trials for rheumatoid arthritis.
