Is the Museum Responsible for Human History?
There's almost no archaeology in pirate enlightenment, says David Walliams. The power of David's argument is partly that he spent many, many years doing fieldwork in Madagascar and can bring his experience to bear on these very threadbare historical sources. That sort of speaks to our experience of going to the museum and looking at the tablet or whatever - it always turns out to be like a bell for something. And anarchists don't invoice, do they? No, is this an indication of what might be missing from the record in the museum?
