The Apocryphal Gospels of Jesus Christ

There was a whole movement called the GNOS-TIC the Gnostic movement which was a kind of unorganized unorthodox Christianity. They used all these other gospels like the gospel of Thomas and so on that gave the stories about Jesus were much more elaborate and they look much more artificial and improbable. The ones that church actually adapted were the ones that were less fantastic this gentleman there are sorts of ways of dealing with these problems he says.
