Every project, we do space science at least incredibly and efficiently in the United States because every administration changes the priorities. And so if a project to figure out how to create habitation on Mars is going to take six years to develop - that project just gets shelved. All that work often is just thrown away until somebody comes back in and resurrects it. This should be emphasized that what we are talking about here applies both to the public sector and the private sector equally. It's not about saying that the public sector is bad at this and the privatesector is good. They are both equally bad at this," he says.
