"I'll still never forget this is the hardest squad I've ever done because that 661 was still heavier than I'd ever squatted and now you don't have the like the anticipation of like you can break this record," he said. "It took me seven years seven years to qualify for masters nationals one qualified for IPF masters worlds so seven years later I went back to worlds and last week I won the gold medal for IPF master's" He added: "If all you get out of lifting is getting stronger and more muscular you totally missed the lessons that I was trying to teach you."
