The Meaning of Religious Sacrifice
Jordan Peterson: I think there's something interesting too to be viewing self so that there's, there's a couple interesting points you make. One is about this identification with our either ourselves or the whole. But then there's this other point of I guess about this constant kind of battle between the near term and the long term. And this is glorification of sacrifice as the ultimate myth. Maybe as the ultimate glorification or the ultimate kind of inspiration for the path to self improvement in order to path to good life.
