How to Make a Movie That's Personal to You
There is this beautiful vulnerability in this movie that is embodied in the characters and is part of the text, right? There's the idea that when we are really seeing someone that there's this sort of fragile honesty. That's kind of the vulnerability that creates the romance between those two characters. Selen Siama has been honest about like this is something that I believe in and have lived and that's a good place to start for a movie. It doesn't have to be like a real actual story from your life.
