The internet and social media platforms. initially thought that these would be tools to help enable greater democratic discussions, but now autocrats are taking over. I think you could pinpoint with every single one of these that the digital domain has played in an enormous part in their success. They're using a lot of the same tactics and techniques and tools. This really constitutes a big threat to democracy globally. And I'm really worried about it.
