Bitcoin Is a Technology for Killing Fiat Money
Fiat is a Latin word that means dictate or order, a government order essentially. It's used to describe money that gets its value not on the free market, but it gets its value by government order. And so the government says that this piece of paper is legal tender. And then you're forced to accept it for payments and you have to pay taxes with it. So, you know, Bitcoin comes from that kind of debate. The Bitcoin is a technology for killing fiat money.
