Mindfulness and DBT - What's the Function of the Behavior?

I tried replacing it, I took a bath, put some candles, put music on. That sounds so much nicer than mindlessly scrolling Instagram. So not the most effective. And yet here, like I still do it. It was really helpful for me to take a step back and think about what's the function of this behavior or what purpose is this behavior serving for me. Maybe we can transition into talking about the skill for this week because I think we're very excited to teach this skill.
