Mindfulness - The Hero of the Drama

If we practice mindfulness long and often enough, this conventional sense of self can start to unravel. By repeatedly bringing our attention to sensory experience in the present moment, we see that what arises in consciousness is a kaleidoscope of sensations and images which themselves arise and pass. If we cultivate sufficient mindfulness, we may even see how we create our sense of self and our understanding of the world around us out of this constant flux of feelings, motions, and thoughts.
