The Modern Data Stack Is Dead Crew

Most of the critiques of the modern data stack come down to people are deploying it in to haphazard fashion. And then the second big critique is that you easily on the modern data Stack because it's not fixed price contract based, like old days of terror data say you just buy a system and that's what you're going to spend. So I'm wondering, maybe relate the semantic layer to these two problems. How do you interact with those two maybe critiques?
