How to Market Your Leadership Style to People Who Want to Follow You
The challenges with leading today, especially for military leaders, is that we do have a lot of anonymous sites on social media. And so it's real easy to allow those to get you down, especially when it's questioning your judgment and not exactly providing any sort of useful feedback to you. We are seeing throughout our culture that many people in the population admiration someone who is certain more than they admire someone who is right. If you are marketing your leadership to people who are seeking certainty, then revealing insecurity to them will make it hard for them to follow you.
