I'm Into the Fascination With the Flag, Right?
The flag is a symbol, a embodying a national character. The pledge of the allegiance is almost like the christian claration of the apostles creed in a time of worship. We're saying, i am giving my life, my devotion, my loyalty to a flag. I think it's really odd, and it's helpful to just honestly admit this is something that's intrinsically religious,. how we're interacting with this.
