The Healing Power of Initiation
I think life is about these initiations, like these calls of adventure. And that's a big part of initiation is going back into the wound. So if one of my core messages in those first seven years was it don't fit in, how has I not fit in played out in the chapter since? There's lots of different external situations and experiences, but the narrative will be similar because it's almost like putting on a pair of sunglasses and everything now looks darker. It's not that everything out there has changed. It's my way of seeing the world has changed. That's what our stories do to us with those early conditioning.
