How to Sharpen Your Pencils

I keep everything bare bones as possible I put all of the detail and process into the drawing. But what about sharpening your pencils do you have any like do you use like a one of those metal sharpeners or do you use a knife or anything special about that? I never could get get down with sharpening my pencils with knives it just seemed a little old school and a little tedious actually.
